The VT-42022 is a linear LED luminaire for a 48 V magnetic track — a black bar of aluminium and polycarbonate, 61.5 cm long, with a cross-section of only 2.6 × 2.4 cm. It clips into the track magnetically, with no screws and no tools. What you need to run it This is the light module on its own, not a complete set: it works only in a magnetic system fed with 48 V direct current, so the track and a 48 V driver must already be installed or bought separately. The luminaire cannot be connected to a 230 V circuit directly. The bar takes up 61.5 cm of track — compare that figure with the length of the run you want to fill, because it decides how many modules fit side by side. The 2.6 × 2.4 cm cross-section means the luminaire does not stand out beyond the outline of a typical magnetic track. How much light it gives and of what kind The module draws 22 W and delivers 2500 lm, which is 115 lm/W and corresponds to energy class E. That is an output for general lighting rather than a point accent. The light is 4000 K, a neutral white: without the yellow cast of an incandescent bulb and without the blue tone of daylight. The beam spreads at 81°, so a single bar lights a strip beneath it rather than a narrow spot. The Ra value is 80, but the R9 component responsible for reds is 11 — reds and oranges look noticeably paler under this light, which is why the luminaire suits general lighting better than a worktop where the colour of food or fabric is being judged. The light source is built in permanently and cannot be replaced; the manufacturer states a life of 18 years at three hours of use a day and more than 15,000 switching cycles. The luminaire is not dimmable — the absence of brightness control is declared explicitly in the EU product information sheet. Build and rooms The housing is aluminium and the cover polycarbonate, the whole in matte black. The aluminium profile also carries the heat of the diodes away along the full length of the bar.
