XIO is a Lucide wall light with a half-round body, closed at the front, made of aluminium powder-coated in matt white. The top and bottom of the housing are open, so the light leaves in two directions — up towards the ceiling and down the wall beneath the fitting. A single G9 source sits inside, visible through both openings. How big it is and how it mounts The fitting is 13 cm wide and 9.7 cm high and projects 11 cm from the wall. That last figure is the one that decides whether it clears a narrow hallway or a door frame — hold it against the width of the passage. The mounting plate is an aluminium rectangle of 13 × 9.7 cm, 1 cm thick, in the same colour as the body. Installation materials are supplied. The fitting is electrical class I, so the back box needs an earth conductor. How much light it gives and of what kind The G9 LED source is included: 3.5 W, 350 lumens, 2700 K. That is warm, slightly yellow light at an accent level of output — the old 60 W bulb gave around 800 lumens, so XIO lights a section of wall rather than a whole room. Colour rendering is Ra 80 and the manufacturer rates the source at 15,000 hours. The beam angle is adjustable, which lets you narrow or widen the shafts going up and down. The light can be dimmed, but the dimmer has to be bought separately — the fitting has no control of its own and runs off the wall switch. Construction The body is powder-coated aluminium with a matt finish; the inside of the shade is white like the outside. The complete fitting weighs 0.56 kg.Mostra di più
