The Lucide WOLFRAM 21117/30/30 is a flush ceiling light with an open globe of crossing black metal straps. An E27 lampholder sits on the axis, so bulb shape and light colour come from a separately purchased lamp — none is in the box. The matt spray-painted metal and the 30 cm wide, 20 cm high cage leave the source on view instead of hiding it behind glass or fabric. Size and ceiling fixing The fitting occupies 30 × 30 × 20 cm. The round ceiling plate is 10 cm in diameter and 3 cm high, so it covers a small disc while the cage drops 20 cm. Height is not adjustable, the head does not tilt, and there is no decorative cable on the product — the supply enters through the canopy. Fixings are included. Protection class I needs an earth conductor; work on the circuit only after isolation. E27 lamp and dimming One E27 socket accepts a source up to 40 W. Lucide does not supply a bulb; the filament globe in the photographs is an example only. Because the cage is open, the lamp’s shape and colour stay visible in daily use. Dimming works only with a dimmable lamp and a compatible dimmer on the circuit — the fitting has no driver or sensor of its own and is switched from the wall. Supply: 220–240 V, 50 Hz. Gaps between the straps throw light around the room rather than in a tight beam. The interior photograph shows the bars drawing a mesh of shadows on the wall; that pattern comes from the open globe, not from a separate shade. Where it belongs IP20 limits use to dry interiors: not wet bathroom zones and not outdoors. At 30 cm diameter with one source up to 40 W it can serve as general light in a living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, hall, corridor, study, office, dressing room or indoor stairwell, provided 20 cm below the ceiling is acceptable. It will not replace task lighting over a worktop or a pendant over a table — it is a flush, diffuse ceiling fitting. WOLFRAM open globe The producer lists the series as modern and the shape as a globe. Crossed straps and matt black metal also read as industrial and loft.
