WOLFRAM is a pendant light with an openwork oval shade woven from crossing metal strips. The shade measures 32 cm across and 50 cm tall, and it is black outside and inside alike, in a matt, spray-applied finish. The fixture hangs from a cord that ends in a round ceiling plate 10 cm in diameter. How high to hang it The suspension length runs from 60 to 180 cm and is set during installation — the manufacturer describes the adjustment as available before installation, so the drop is chosen once. Mounting hardware is included, and the 10 cm ceiling plate covers a standard junction box. Above a table the bottom edge of the shade usually sits 70–80 cm over the tabletop, which with a top at 75 cm works out to roughly 145–155 cm above the floor. Subtract that figure from your own ceiling height and you have the drop to set. Which bulb you need to buy The fitting takes one E27 bulb on 230 V, rated up to 60 W. None is included, so you choose the light colour and brightness yourself: the old 60 W incandescent corresponds to roughly 800 lm today. The manufacturer recommends its own 49035/30/62 — a T32 filament LED of 4.9 W burning at 2200 K in amber glass, warmer and more golden than the usual 2700 K. The bulb stays visible between the strips, and the manufacturer states the light direction as all-round and diffuse — light leaves the shade sideways and upwards as well, not only downwards onto the table. The lamp is switched from an ordinary wall switch, and dimming needs both a bulb marked as dimmable and a dimmer, which is not supplied. Build, wiring and the series Shade, stem and ceiling plate are all metal, finished in matt black. The IP20 rating covers dry interiors only, and electrical class I means the ceiling box needs a protective earth conductor — worth checking before buying in an older installation. The manufacturer gives a two-year warranty. In the catalogue the light is assigned to the living room, the dining room, the kitchen and specifically the space over a table.
