The Lucide REGINA is a ceiling spotlight with two cylindrical heads on a rectangular bar. The aluminium is powder-coated in matt beige, and the rings at the base and at the light opening of each head carry a darker, coffee-brown tone. How much room it takes and how it aims the light The bar measures 28 x 10 cm and stands 2.5 cm off the ceiling; with the heads the fitting is 14 cm tall. The heads are 5.4 cm across and rotate and tilt through a full 360 degrees, so you can aim one at a worktop and the other at a wall without moving the bar. The fitting emits downwards only, in two narrow beams set by the lamps you choose — it is accent light for chosen spots, not a replacement for a ceiling luminaire. The whole fitting weighs 0.5 kg, and the manufacturer supplies the mounting materials. Which lamps fit and whether it dims The REGINA takes two GU10 lamps in the MR16 format, up to 50 W each. No bulbs are included, so colour temperature, output and beam angle are yours to choose — the maker recommends a 5 W, 3000 K GU10 lamp for this fitting. Dimming is possible, but the luminaire itself carries no control gear: you need a lamp described as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit. Without them the REGINA works only on and off from an ordinary wall switch. Where it may be mounted The fitting is rated IP20 and the manufacturer intends it for interiors. It is not meant for a facade, a terrace, a soffit or the splash zone of a bathroom — damp and rain go beyond what it is protected against. The stated electrical class I means the installation has to carry an earth conductor; in older circuits without earthing that is worth checking before buying.
