Lucide Marius Smoked Glass Globe Pendant Light 30 cm E27 45402/30/30

Name: Lucide Marius Smoked Glass Globe Pendant Light 30 cm E27 45402/30/30
Brand: Lucide

Lucide Marius is a pendant light built around a 30 cm glass globe hanging from a black cord. The glass is smoke-tinted: the upper half of the shade is smoked and mirrored, the lower half stays clear, so the bulb remains visible from below. The ceiling rose, lampholder and suspension are metal in matt black. How big it is and how low it hangs The globe measures 30 cm across and the same in height — compare that figure with the width of the surface you want the light to hang over. The complete fixture drops between 70 and 183 cm from the ceiling, and the 12 cm ceiling rose covers a standard installation box. The drop is set before installation by shortening the suspension; once the light is up it cannot be adjusted from below, so the length has to be chosen straight away. Above a dining table with a 75 cm top, the bottom edge of a shade usually sits 70–80 cm above the surface — that is the reference point for working out the drop you need. Which bulb it takes The fitting takes one E27 bulb of up to 40 W on a 230 V supply. No bulb is included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself; Lucide recommends its own G95 filament bulb, code 49032/05/62, for this model. Because the glass is see-through, the bulb itself is part of how the light looks — the shape of the envelope and the pattern of the filament show through the shade. The light spreads all around, with no set direction. The light can be dimmed, but that requires a dimmable bulb and a dimmer, neither of which is included. Build and where it belongs The shade is glass; the ceiling rose and suspension parts are powder-coated metal in matt black. The manufacturer packs the mounting hardware with the light. The fixture is class II, so it needs no earth connection, and it is intended for indoor use only. Marius is a modern shape: a single undecorated globe on a thin cord. The manufacturer intends it for the living room, the dining room and the kitchen — over the dining table and over a kitchen island, wherever the light hangs above a defined surface.Mostra di più
