FEDOR is a 49 cm bollard light: a black steel column 10 cm across on a round 13 cm base, closed at the top with a clear cylinder. The steel is matt powder-coated and the cover hides nothing — the bulb is visible in full. What a light this height covers 49 cm reaches roughly to the knee, so the light lands on the surface around the column rather than in the eyes of whoever walks past. The manufacturer gives the distribution as all-around and diffuse: the fitting does not aim the beam one way, it spreads it evenly. Along a path that means setting several bollards at intervals that mark its line, instead of expecting one to cover the whole length. The base takes up a circle 13 cm across — a figure worth comparing with the width of the edging or paving slab it is to stand on. You choose the bulb The fitting has one E27 socket rated to a maximum of 40 W, and no bulb is included. The clear cylinder turns that into a decision you see every day: the lamp is permanently on show, so a decorative bulb with a visible filament reads differently here than a frosted one. Lucide names its own T32, article 49035/05/62, as the recommended source — a filament LED 3 cm across, 4.9 W, at 2200 K, noticeably warmer than the usual 2700 K. Dimming is possible but needs two things that are not in the box: a dimmable bulb and a separate dimmer. The fitting itself carries no control electronics — the manufacturer expects an ordinary wall switch. Wiring and life outdoors The bollard runs on a fixed 230 V supply in electrical class I, so the connection needs an earth conductor — this is permanent wiring, not a plug for a garden socket. Mounting hardware comes with it. IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction, that is, against rain; it is not a fitting for standing water or for a pressure washer.
