The LUMINES type alba LED profile is a raw aluminium profile with a rectangular cross-section, designed to hold an LED strip. The profile alone contains no LED strip or diffuser – it's a carrier you build up with matching accessories from the same alba system. Dimensions and cross-section The profile is 2.02 m long, 32.1 mm wide and 23.4 mm high, with an internal channel 28.3 mm wide that the LED strip fits into. It can be screwed directly onto a surface or suspended on cables – the manufacturer supports both mounting methods. What's included, and what you need to buy separately Only the aluminium profile is included – the LED strip, a diffuser that clips in from the top (available as Clear, Opal or Black, for example) and end caps are bought separately from the alba system's accessory range. Profiles can be joined into longer runs and angled shapes using straight and angled connectors, also sold separately. Build and where it's used The profile is made of silver anodised aluminium. An IP20 rating means the profile, without a sealed diffuser, suits dry indoor spaces only.
