SONGMICS LBS13W is a three-tier shoe rack in white-lacquered bamboo. Each shelf is built from narrow slats set apart from one another, and the frame is screwed together — the screw heads stay visible at the corners. The structure is open on every side, with no back panel and no doors. How big it is and where it fits The rack measures 70 cm wide, 26 cm deep and 55 cm high. At 26 cm the depth is less than the length of an adult shoe, so footwear sits with the toe or heel past the edge — worth adding to the space you allow for it in a narrow hallway. At 55 cm high the unit stays below worktop level and below a usual windowsill, so it goes under a window or beneath a coat rail. The manufacturer's drawing gives 18.5 cm between tiers and 8 cm between the floor and the bottom shelf. What it holds Three tiers give three runs 70 cm wide, and another 8 cm of height is left under the bottom shelf — the manufacturer points to that gap for flat slippers. Measure the 18.5 cm tier spacing against the tallest pair you want to store: boots and chunky-soled trainers will only go on the top tier, which has nothing above it. The manufacturer does not limit it to footwear — the same rack is intended for toiletries and towels in the bathroom and for books in a study. The gaps between the slats keep water from wet shoes from standing on the shelf. Build and care The unit is made of bamboo with a white lacquered surface. The manufacturer states that the lacquered finish resists moisture and cleans easily, which is why the bathroom appears on its list of rooms. Bamboo here is the structural material rather than a veneer: the shelf slats and the legs are the same stock. Assembly and what is in the box The rack arrives flat, in a 69 × 31 × 11 cm carton. Inside are the rack itself, a bag of fittings and a manual in five languages: German, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
