Halling is a pendant built from three illuminated bars hung at different heights beneath a shared brass rail 109 cm long. Each bar joins a length of brass tube to a length of opal diffuser, with a brass sphere set where the two meet. Two bars hang horizontally and the third vertically — the whole thing reads as a composition of lines stopped in mid-air. A composition that reads from every side The three bars sit in different planes and at different heights, so the lamp changes with your viewpoint. This is a design for a space where the fitting is seen from several sides — over a kitchen island, above a table in an open dining area, in a hallway with a mezzanine. Above a worktop 160–220 cm long the proportions of the 109 cm rail work best. 45 W of light with no bulbs All three bars run off a built-in LED module rated 45 W and 3207 lumens — roughly what five classic 60 W bulbs give, at a fraction of the consumption. 3000 K is warm white, and CRI 80+ is enough to keep wood, fabrics and food on the table looking right. The diodes are permanently integrated: you never buy bulbs for this lamp, but you cannot replace them yourself either. The fitting is not dimmable — do not wire it to a dimmer. Brass, glass and steel The structure is steel finished in brass, the diffusers are white glass. Wire suspensions let you set the drop: fully extended the overall height reaches 150 cm, while the lamp body itself measures 90.5 cm. IP20 keeps it in dry interiors.
