JANTAR is Polish for amber — and that is the whole story of this lamp. A black bar 50 cm long carries two shades of honey-coloured clear glass, each in a gold, brass-toned holder. Black, gold and warm amber together place it somewhere between modern and old-café.A shade you see straight throughThe glass is tinted but clear — the bulb inside is fully visible and becomes part of how the lamp looks. That changes how it should be bought: a decorative source is worth having, ideally a globe envelope with a visible warm filament. A clear high-power bulb turns into a hard point of glare inside this shade.Light sourcesThe lamp has two E27 lampholders rated at a maximum of 60 W each. Bulbs are not included. Since both shades are seen at once, buy a matched pair — any difference in colour between them shows immediately. The fitting is not dimmable; control needs dimmable bulbs and a dimmer in the installation.Dimensions and installationThe bar fixes to the ceiling; the spacing of the shades follows its length, and the structure is 15 cm wide.
