FELIPE Luces Exclusivas LE73706 Garden Bollard Light Black 50 cm
FELIPE is an outdoor bollard light 50 cm tall, built like a slim lantern: a black frame of square 14,5 x 14,5 cm section surrounds a clear cylindrical shade. One side is closed by a solid panel in a wood-grain finish, the other three stay open. Where it goes and how it fixes down The base is a flat square plate with holes at the corners rather than a ground spike. The bollard therefore bolts to a hard surface - block paving, a terrace slab, a concrete plinth - and is not suited to a lawn without that kind of footing. It takes up 14,5 x 14,5 cm of ground; compare that figure with the width of your path edging or the free strip along the terrace. At 50 cm the light leaves close to the ground, so it traces the path and its immediate surroundings rather than lighting a whole garden. Which bulb to buy for it The bollard has one E27 lampholder and no bulb is supplied. The manufacturer states 12 W as the maximum power of the light source, so an E27 LED lamp fits inside it; a traditional 40 or 60 W incandescent bulb cannot be used here. Apart from the lampholder there is no electronics inside, so colour and brightness are chosen together with the bulb, and dimming needs a lamp marked as dimmable plus a dimmer in the circuit. The top is closed by a solid, opaque cap that sends the light down and sideways instead of into the sky, and the wood-grain panel blocks one of the four directions - the bollard can be turned so that this side faces a window or a boundary. Build and weather resistance The frame is aluminium with plastic parts, finished in black. Protection rating IP65 means full dust tightness and resistance to water jets, so the fitting can stand in the open, uncovered and all year round. FELIPE is also made in a lower 22 cm version and as outdoor wall lights of the same geometry, which lets the same pattern be repeated at the door and along the path.Mostra di più
