ELISA is a pendant suspension for 3-circuit track systems from Rendl Light Studio: a 1.5-metre fabric-braided cable, a chrome-finished metal E27 lampholder and a white adapter that clips straight into a three-circuit track. In this version (manufacturer code R12111) the cable carries a red and white zigzag pattern. What it is for The point of ELISA is to bring a light point down from the track to working height - over a table, a kitchen worktop or a counter - without running separate wiring. The adapter takes power from the track, so the fitting slides along the run and can be positioned exactly where the light is needed. Several units on one track line up into an even row, and the range of cable colours lets you mix them. Build The 150 cm cable is sleeved in fabric with a red and white zigzag - it is a decorative element rather than just a supply lead, so this fitting is meant to be seen, not concealed. The lampholder is metal with a chrome finish and carries a ring for fixing a shade. The track adapter is white. Light source The holder takes E27 bulbs of up to 15 W in LED technology, on 230 V mains. No bulb is supplied - the manufacturer intends the fitting to be used with a decorative bulb or with a separately chosen shade. It dims as long as the light source itself is dimmable; the fitting contains no control gear of its own. Before you buy ELISA is not a standalone pendant - it needs an installed three-circuit (3-phase) track to the European standard. It does not, however, need any driver or transformer: it runs directly on the 230 V supply carried by the track.
