The part that joins two track lengths into one straight run Longitudinal connector 143090 joins two lengths of SLV 1 SYSTEM single-circuit surface track into one straight line. It sits between the end faces of adjacent sections and carries both the mechanical and the electrical connection, so once assembled the whole run is fed from a single point. It is a rigid connector — it does not bend and allows no change of angle; corner pieces exist separately for changes of direction. When you need one Track is sold in standard lengths (usually 1 m, 2 m and 3 m) and rooms are rarely a multiple of those. A connector lets you build a run of any length: 2 m + 1 m over a kitchen worktop, 3 m + 3 m along a shop floor, and so on. The number of connectors needed is always the number of sections minus one.
