PRINCETON 5071 is an eight-arm chandelier 84 cm across and 73 cm tall, carried on a rigid stem – not a chain or a cable, so it hangs exactly where it is fitted, without swaying. The frame is brushed brass: matt, warm in tone, without the mirror shine that ages quickly. Shades and the gold lining The eight tapered shades are sewn from beige satin and lined in gold inside. That lining does the work: light bounces off the gold surface before it leaves the shade, so the beam reaching the table is noticeably warmer than the bulb's own colour. From above and from the side you see calm beige fabric; only from below does the gold reveal itself. Light sources Eight E27 lampholders take bulbs of up to 15 W each. Bulbs are not included. With eight points, consistency is worth attention: different batches of LED lamps can differ by several hundred kelvin, which shows instantly in one chandelier – buy the set from a single batch. Supply is 230 V, and IP20 places it in dry interiors. Scale and installation 84 cm across suits a table for six to eight, or a living room with a high ceiling – over a smaller table the fitting will dominate the room. It weighs 5.2 kg net, so the fixing should reach the structural ceiling rather than just the ceiling board. The rigid stem sets the height permanently, which is a virtue over a table (the fitting neither turns nor drifts) and a limitation where adjustment is needed.
