Alta 1468BL is a 49 cm bollard light topped with a head built from five overlapping rings. The body is a tube of hot-dip galvanised steel powder-coated in RAL 9005 black. A milky PMMA lens sits behind the rings, and a solid cap closes the top so no light escapes upward. How tall the bollard is and how it is fixed At 49 cm high and 15 cm across, the head sits at about knee height, so the fitting marks a path without shining into passers-by's eyes. The same head is offered on an 85 cm body in the Alta range. The bollard weighs 5.7 kg and is fixed through three ø9 mm holes set every 120° on a ø65 mm circle. Norlys supplies the ground anchor, concreting anchor and mounting adapters separately. How much light Alta 1468BL gives The light source is built in and comes with the fitting, so there is no bulb to buy. An LED module with an electronic driver does the work, replaceable only by a qualified person; the whole fitting draws 8.5 W. The module produces 1121 lm, but 151 lm leaves the fitting — the deep louvred head holds back the rest. Light escapes through the narrow slots between the rings, spreading sideways and downwards, while the solid cap cuts off glare aimed at the sky. Alta 1468BL picks out the edge of a path rather than lighting a larger area. At 4000 K the light is neutral white, cooler than a traditional bulb and easy to read on paving and concrete, with colour rendering of Ra 80. It dims on a TRIAC phase dimmer, trailing edge or leading edge; the dimmer is bought separately. Where this bollard belongs Norlys intends the Alta range for lighting private grounds. Build and durability Hot-dip galvanised steel under powder coating copes with damp and road salt; a silicone gasket seals the PMMA lens. IP65 means full dust protection and resistance to water jets; IK08 covers knocks at ground level. It runs between −20 °C and +45 °C in protection class II, so no earth conductor is needed.
