Name: Aldex LOOP BABY PINK S 1125G18_S pendant light, 14 cm glass globe, E14
Brand: Aldex

LOOP BABY PINK S is a pendant made of a white opal glass globe 14 cm across and a flat metal disc 28 cm across that sits directly above it. The pastel pink covers the disc, the ceiling rose and the braided cord — the glass stays white. The glass is made in Poland. What it is made of and how big it is The disc-and-globe assembly is 16 cm tall and the fitting's overall height is 200 cm — the rest is the cord coming down from the 10 cm ceiling rose. Compare that figure with your own ceiling height before choosing where to hang it. Over a dining table the globe usually goes high enough that its lower edge sits 70–80 cm above the table top: the light then covers the table and does not shine into the eyes of anyone seated. The 28 cm disc sets the fitting's footprint, and the whole lamp weighs 1,12 kg. The light source There is one E14 lampholder inside the globe and no bulb is supplied — the manufacturer's instructions list it among the things to have ready for installation. The wattage allowed is 10 W for an LED lamp, so you pick the colour and brightness yourself within that. Opal glass is milky the whole way through rather than clear: it diffuses the light and hides the filament, so the globe glows evenly across its surface. The metal disc above takes away the upward share and turns it down onto whatever stands beneath the lamp. Changing the bulb means taking the glass globe off from below. Where to hang it and how it goes up The manufacturer intends it over a dining table, at the centre of a living room and in public spaces — cafés and restaurants. The LOOP collection carries the same composition in cream, coral, beige, dusty blue and red wine, and alongside size S there are M and L with a 25 cm globe plus a wall version. The instructions call for a drill and two screws with plugs, and leave the mains connection to a qualified electrician.Mostra di più
