This is a track end cap — a component of the Antigo track system, not a luminaire. It slides onto the cut end of a 3-phase surface-mounted track and closes the profile. Why the end has to be closed A 3-phase track carries three live conductors plus neutral and earth inside the profile at 230 V. A cut end leaves those busbars exposed. The end cap covers them mechanically, guards against contact and against dust falling into the channel, and gives the run a finished edge instead of raw cut aluminium. It is not decorative — it is the part without which an installation should not be handed over. Compatibility The part fits Antigo's 3-phase surface track only. Track systems from different makers are not interchangeable: profile, conductor spacing and the geometry of the catch differ between brands, so an end cap from another maker will not enter the channel or will not stay in it. The white version is code 8110, the black one 8109 — the colour is chosen to match the track, not the fittings. Dimensions and fitting The cap measures 3.52 × 3.13 cm and is made of plastic. It pushes onto the end of the profile without tools; fit it with the supply switched off. The manufacturer covers the part with a three-year warranty.
