WAVE 15166-55 is an LED ceiling light from the WAVE range by Leuchten Direkt. Three wavy, illuminated arms cross above a small rectangular steel-coloured canopy, and the whole fitting measures 97.5 cm long and only 8 cm deep. How big the fitting is and where it goes The body takes up 97.5 × 16 cm of ceiling and stands 8 cm proud of it — a figure to compare with the room height and with the clearance above a door or wardrobe the fitting has to pass. The arms run along a single axis, so the light lies lengthwise down a room or hallway rather than sitting in its centre. The fitting weighs 1.121 kg and is protection class II, which means it needs no earth conductor — live and neutral in a standard ceiling box are enough.
