Nova is a wall light built from a rectangular base with a movable tube set on top of it, made entirely of white-painted aluminium. The tube rests on a visible pivot at the upper edge of the base, and a rocker switch sits on the face below it. The LED module is built in permanently and gives a 3000 K light. How big it is and where to mount it The base measures 9 cm across and 14 cm high, and together with the 2.5 cm tube it stands 5.5 cm off the wall. Compare those figures with the free strip of wall above a headboard or beside an armchair: the fitting takes up wall space rather than bedside-table space, so the top of the cabinet stays clear. The maker intends Nova primarily as a bedside fitting. The pivot lets the tube tilt vertically, so the beam can be aimed at a book instead of at the face of whoever is sleeping next to you. How much light Nova gives The built-in LED module draws 2.5 W and produces 153 lm in a 45° beam. That is enough light for one reading spot, not for lighting a room — this fitting works alongside the main lamp rather than replacing it. At 3000 K the light is warm and slightly yellow, close to an old incandescent bulb. The light source is included and permanently fitted: you buy no bulb for this fitting and none can be replaced, and the maker covers it with a five-year warranty. The fitting is not dimmable, so no dimmer is provided for on the supply. Operation and build The rocker switch on the base means the light is turned on at the fitting itself, without reaching for a switch by the door.
