The V-TAC Premium VT-2407 is a square LED panel for recessed ceiling mounting, in a white aluminium body 12 mm thick. The light source is built into the fixture and cannot be replaced. How big the panel is and how it mounts The panel measures 300 × 300 mm, and the cutout in a suspended ceiling should be 280 × 280 mm — slightly smaller than the fixture itself, so the frame covers the cut edge. The 12 mm depth lets it fit even in a shallow gap between a suspended ceiling and the structural ceiling above. How much light it gives and what colour The panel draws 24 W and outputs 2500 lm, roughly the brightness of three traditional 60 W bulbs. It shines at 2700 K — a warm, slightly yellow light similar to a halogen bulb. A colour rendering index of Ra >80 is a standard value, adequate for general lighting but not aimed at faithful colour reproduction. The 120° beam angle spreads light widely under the ceiling. The manufacturer rates the light source at 20,000 hours, which works out to about 18 years at 3 hours of use a day, and covers the panel with a 2-year warranty.
