Brand: V-TAC

The VT-1129 is a square V-TAC stair light measuring 84 x 84 x 50 mm, in a white finish with an aluminium body. The LED light source is built into the housing and cannot be replaced.Size and mountingThe square body, 8.4 cm to a side and 5 cm deep, sits recessed into a wall opening, leaving only a flat frame with horizontal louvres over the light source visible. The fixture runs on 230 V (AC 220-240 V, 50 Hz).How much light it gives and its colourA luminous flux of 380 lm at 3000 K gives warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional bulb. A colour rendering index of Ra 80+ lets you tell colours on the steps and surroundings apart without major distortion, and the 270° beam angle spreads light widely to the sides. The integrated source cannot be swapped out - the manufacturer states an average lifespan of 18 years at 3 hours of daily use and a luminous efficacy of 75 lm/W.Where this fixture is meant to goAn IP65 rating allows mounting outdoors without extra rain protection, and in a bathroom - the manufacturer lists staircases and bathrooms as intended uses. Over 15,000 on/off cycles suit the frequent switching typical of a staircase light. The fixture carries CE, EMC and ROHS certification, and the manufacturer gives it a 2-year warranty.Show more
