The RONDOC ACGU10-191-N is a surface-mounted ceiling spotlight in a black matt housing shaped as an oval tube. Two tilting rings with GU10 sockets sit in its underside — each swivels on its own, so the two beams can be aimed at different places. How much ceiling it takes The housing measures 17.3 cm along the longer axis and 9.4 cm across the shorter one, and it stands 10.5 cm clear of the ceiling. This is a surface fitting: it mounts on a finished ceiling with no cut-out and no void above the board, which makes it workable on a concrete slab and on any ceiling that cannot be dropped. Compare the 10.5 cm projection with the headroom where the fitting will go — on a low ceiling two tubes of this depth read as objects rather than disappearing into the plasterboard. Which bulbs to buy The fitting has two GU10 sockets and takes a bulb of up to 50 W in each, on 230 V mains. No bulbs are included, so they are chosen separately — and because GU10 is a directional cap, choosing the bulb also settles the beam angle: narrow gives a defined pool of light on a worktop or a picture, wide brightens part of the room. Light colour depends on the bulb as well. For a living room or bedroom 2700–3000 K, warm light, is the usual pick; over a kitchen worktop, more often 4000 K. Tilting heads and where the fitting works Both rings rotate in the housing, so the light is aimed after installation — no fresh holes in the ceiling when the furniture in the room moves. Two independent points let one ceiling outlet light two different places at once, a shelf unit and an armchair for instance. The manufacturer intends the fitting for the living room, dining room, kitchen, study and office, hallway and bedroom.
