TOLEDO is a wall lamp with a flattened, lens-shaped body: two curved shells overlap so that from the front the fitting reads as an elongated oval 28.5 cm across. The whole surface is matt white, with neither screws nor a protruding light source visible from outside. How big the fitting is and where to put it The lamp measures 28.5 cm wide and 16 cm high, and stands 9 cm off the wall. Compare those three figures with the free stretch of wall you have in mind — 9 cm is little enough that TOLEDO stays out of the way in a narrow passage, in a hallway or on a stair landing. The body is wider than it is tall, so it sits horizontally and fills a band rather than a point. Above a bed head or beside a mirror, that is a dimension easier to match to the width of the furniture than to its height. How much light TOLEDO gives Inside works an integrated 20 W LED module rated at 1183 lumens. An old 60 W bulb corresponds to roughly 800 lumens, so TOLEDO is noticeably brighter — in an entrance hall or corridor it can be the only light rather than a supplement to a main fitting. The colour temperature is 3000 K, warm white: yellowish, close to a traditional bulb and warmer than neutral 4000 K. The module is included, so no bulb has to be bought separately — but it is built in permanently and cannot be replaced once it stops working. Build and where it can be mounted The fitting combines metal and acrylic, and the uniform matt finish makes it read as a single white volume with no visible divisions. The form is modern and minimal — a soft oval, no ornament, no detail that draws more attention than the outline itself. TOLEDO runs on 230 V and is intended for dry interiors only: living room, bedroom, entrance hall, corridor and stairwell. It is not suitable for a bathroom or for outdoor use.Show more
