GES961C is an outdoor wall light shaped as a plain rectangular block of die-cast aluminium with a white finish. The body is 180 mm long with a 75 × 65 mm section, and the polycarbonate light openings run along the top and the bottom edge. The LED module is included. How it spreads the light The manufacturer calls the fitting biemissione — it emits in two directions, up and down. On a wall that produces two bands of light fanning out across the render above and below the housing, rather than a single cone aimed downwards. The beam angle is 120°, so the bands are wide and soft, with no sharp shadow edge. Total output is 517 lm and it is divided between the two openings, so a single band gives roughly half of that. This is orientation and accent light at a door or on a facade, not floodlighting for a whole driveway. 3000 K is warm, slightly yellow light, and a CRI above 80 is enough to keep the colour of render and door recognisable after dark. Where and how it mounts IP65 means fully dust-tight and resistant to water jets, so the fitting can hang on an unsheltered wall and take wind-driven rain. The supply is 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, and protection class I calls for a circuit with an earth conductor — the cable gland is visible on the narrow face of the body. The fitting cannot be dimmed: the manufacturer states on-off switching only, so a dimmer in the circuit will not work. Net weight is 0,63 kg, so the fixings carry very little. Build and service life The body is die-cast aluminium and the covers are polycarbonate — a tougher material under impact than acrylic, which counts at ground-floor height. The LED module is integrated, so the source is not changed like a bulb; the manufacturer declares 25 000 h, after which the whole fitting is replaced. The finish costs light: for the same body at the same 10 W the manufacturer gives 517 lm in white, 382 lm in anthracite and 384 lm in rust.
