Rendl BJORK SQ 20 white recessed LED light 18 W 3000 K

Name: Rendl BJORK SQ 20 white recessed LED light 18 W 3000 K
Brand: Rendl light studio

Rendl BJORK SQ 20 R13590 is a square white LED fitting designed for recessed installation in plasterboard ceilings. Its visible section is only 2 cm high, while the integrated 18 W module delivers 1800 lm of warm 3000 K light. Sliding fixing springs accommodate mounting openings from 6 to 18 cm in diameter.Even light with a warm toneThe integrated LED source produces 1800 lm while drawing 18 W. A 3000 K colour temperature gives a warm white appearance suited to living areas, circulation spaces and practical zones where light should feel comfortable without becoming subdued. Its CRI 80 colour rendering helps everyday colours remain recognisable. A broad opal diffuser spreads output across the whole face rather than creating a single tightly focused spot, making the fitting useful as part of a repeated ceiling layout.A low-profile square formatThe front measures 20 × 20 cm and presents a simple geometric surface in white. With a visible height of just 2 cm, BJORK SQ 20 stays visually close to the ceiling line. Its square frame is straightforward to align when several fittings are arranged in rows or a grid. Rendl also identifies it as suitable for combining with the Larisa surface-mounted range, helping maintain a related appearance where one installation method cannot be used throughout a room.Flexible fitting in an existing openingThe fitting requires 4.5 cm of recessed depth. Two sliding springs adjust to an opening between 6 and 18 cm, so the product can replace older halogen fittings without enlarging an existing cut-out. Before ordering, measure the opening, the clear space above the board and the sound edge available for the springs to grip. Installation and connection should be completed by a qualified electrician after isolating the supply.A complete set for considered planningBJORK SQ 20 operates at 230 V. Both the LED source and transformer are included, removing the need to select a separate lamp or driver. The stated service life is 30,000 hours, the energy efficiency class is F and product weight is 0.382 kg. When deciding how many units are needed, consider room area, surface colours and the required illumination level; wattage alone does not describe the final lighting effect.Show more
