HANOK 7554 is a linear module in the form of a black profile 120 cm long, designed by David Villalba. A row of diodes runs along the lower edge, each set in a deep square cell — the cells hide the light points when the fitting is seen from the side. Connectors at both ends join the module to the rest of the system. How big the profile is and what it needs to hang The profile measures 120 cm long, 4.8 cm wide and 6.65 cm high. Compare the length with the surface the fitting is to hang over: 120 cm matches roughly a table for four, two to a side, counting about 60 cm of width per person. The module weighs 2.2 kg and is not a complete luminaire on its own. Within the HANOK family the side caps — one with a suspension wire, one with a supply cable and a ceiling rose — and the module-to-module connectors are separate items. They decide whether one profile hangs alone or several join into a longer line. How much light it gives and what work looks like under it The module draws 38 W and puts out 2650 lumens. An old 60 W bulb corresponds to about 800 lumens, so one profile gives roughly as much light as three of them — that is general lighting rather than a decorative addition. The 3000 K colour is warm white: yellowish light, close to a traditional bulb. Colour rendering is Ra 90, so colours under this fitting read almost as they do in daylight — which matters where food, fabric or print is being judged. The manufacturer also states a UGR below 16: at that figure someone sitting under the profile does not have the diodes directly in view, because the cell edges shield them. Light source and power The diodes are built into the profile and come with it, but the manufacturer describes them as non-replaceable — the life of the fitting is the life of the LED module itself. It is rated at 50,000 operating hours and 30,000 switching cycles, a figure that counts where the light switches many times a day. The fitting is not dimmable, so the light level stays fixed.
