This is a track mounting bracket from the 3-phase Multisystem EVO system by the Italian manufacturer A.A.G. Stucchi, in black. What a bracket does in a track installation Track is not fixed straight to the ceiling: the brackets are screwed up first, and the track seats into them. The bracket has a channel matched to the track profile and a flat base with a round hole and a keyhole slot for a screw or threaded rod. They are spaced at regular intervals along the run, with extra ones at joints and at the ends, so the profile does not sag between supports and the contacts inside the track stay evenly pressed. The number of brackets therefore follows the length and geometry of the run, not the number of luminaires.
