This end cap closes one end of the LUMINES axel LED profile. It is made of aluminium lacquered in Light Ivory RAL 1015, the same shade LUMINES uses on the profile itself, so the termination does not stand out from the line of light. The visible face is smooth: no cable opening and no exposed screws. Which profile it fits The manufacturer assigns catalogue number 12-1518-11 to the axel system only — end caps for the other LUMINES profile families carry their own numbers. The cap follows the axel cross-section: 15.8 mm wide, 13.8 mm high, with a 13.0 mm channel for the LED strip. The axel profile in the same Light Ivory finish is 10-1366-10 (1 m), 10-1366-20 (2.02 m) and 10-1366-30 (3 m). The profile is surface-mounted or suspended, and the manufacturer intends it for decorative and accent lighting in furniture and interior finishes. The version without a hole, and what goes on the other end This is the solid version with no cable feed-through, so it closes the end of the profile where no supply cable arrives. In the axel assembly diagram the manufacturer pairs a cap without a hole at one end with a cap with a hole at the other, where the strip cable comes out. A length of profile has two ends, so closing it takes two caps. The matching cap with a hole, in the same Light Ivory lacquered finish, is 12-1518-10. The same colour is also available as an ABS 2-in-1 cap with a push-hole, number 12-1518-01. What else the finished system needs The cap is one part of a system and does not light on its own — the profile, the LED strip, the power supply and the cover are bought separately. For axel the manufacturer offers nano polycarbonate covers: Fractal Opal 11-3491, Fractal Clear 11-3493 and Fractal black 11-3397, where the -10, -20 or -30 ending means 1 m, 2.02 m or 3 m.
