VT-300W-W is a solar set for outdoor lighting: a white LED floodlight, a separate 50 W photovoltaic panel, a remote control, a U-shaped mounting bracket, expansion screws and a five-metre cable between panel and luminaire. The housing is made of aluminium, steel and plastic. How much light it gives The floodlight puts out 4200 lm at 4000 K — neutral white, cooler than incandescent light and without a yellow cast. An old 60 W bulb gave around 800 lm, so this is the main light over a driveway or a wall, not an accent. The beam spreads at 120°, and the manufacturer states a 0.001 s start-up time, so the light is there the instant it switches on. How long it runs and how it charges Energy is stored in a 3.2 V LiFePO4 battery rated at 50,000 mAh. The manufacturer gives 4 hours of charging and 8 hours of operation — compare those 8 hours with the length of the night in the month you need the light. The set is rated for -20°C to +45°C, and the manual asks for a fully charged battery ahead of a run of overcast days. Mounting and control The luminaire measures 44.5 cm wide, 38 cm high and 11 cm deep and weighs 9.65 kg; it fixes to the supplied U-bracket. The manufacturer specifies a mounting height of 4–6 m, and the panel stands separately, angled towards the sun — the five-metre cable joins them, and that distance decides where each part can go. IP65 lets the set stay out in the rain, but the manual rules out mounting it in hollows where water collects. The remote works from 8–15 m. It carries three run-time presets — 3, 5 and 8 hours — buttons to raise and lower brightness, and a mode driven by the dusk sensor; separate buttons force the light on and off, bypassing that sensor. What the manufacturer intends it for The manual names building façades, sports facilities, industrial sites, billboards and hoardings, and parking areas — places you do not have to run a power cable to, because the set works from the panel and battery alone.
