The V-TAC VT-1807 Premium is a square LED panel designed for recessed installation. Its white aluminium body measures 22.5 × 22.5 cm and is only 1.2 cm high, so the outline and depth can be checked against the prepared ceiling space before purchase. Spring clips shown in the product documentation hold the panel in place after it is inserted into the opening. Light output and colour The integrated LEDs draw 18 W and produce 1400 lm. That output is suitable for general lighting, while the wide 120° beam distributes light over a broad area rather than concentrating it in a narrow cone. A colour temperature of 6400 K gives a cool, distinctly white light. Colour rendering is rated at Ra 80, and the EPREL record gives an R9 value of 0. Basic colours are therefore rendered at a typical functional level, but saturated reds may appear less faithful. The PstLM flicker and SVM stroboscopic-effect metrics are both 0.1. This panel is not dimmable, so it operates at a fixed brightness. Installation and power supply The fitting operates from AC 85–265 V at 50/60 Hz. Installation requires a prepared ceiling opening and wiring in accordance with the instructions; connection to the mains should be carried out by a qualified electrician. V-TAC lists offices, conference rooms, hospitals, hotels, shops, showrooms, lobbies and kitchens among the intended applications. Integrated LED source The light source is included as part of the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to buy. According to the instructions, neither the LED module nor the control gear can be replaced by the user; the complete fitting is replaced at the end of their service life. The manufacturer states a 20,000-hour lifetime, more than 15,000 switching cycles and a two-year warranty.
