The V-TAC VT-933-B is a square recessed frame for a single GU10 lamp. The visible bezel, 102 mm along each side, is moulded from black polycarbonate, and the lamp holder sits in a ring carried on side pivots inside the body. No lamp is supplied — this is the fitting on its own. The opening you need to cut The mounting hole measures 95 × 95 mm. Because the visible bezel is 102 × 102 mm, it overlaps the edge of the cut-out by about 3.5 mm on each side and hides a rough cut. The body is 42 mm deep, and above the ceiling you also need room for the GU10 lamp itself and the supply cable. Two sprung clips on the sides hold the fitting in the opening: squeeze them together, push the body up and let go. It is intended for suspended ceilings and plasterboard. The fitting weighs around 0.1 kg, so it puts almost no load on the board. What light it will give Any ordinary lamp with a GU10 cap fits the holder. Since the light source is not included, you choose the colour temperature, output and beam angle yourself — the same frame takes a warm 2700 K lamp for a living room or a neutral 4000 K one over a worktop. The holder tilts within its ring, so the beam can be aimed at a wall or at a particular spot in the room instead of only straight down. Whether the light dims depends on the lamp and the dimmer in the circuit; the frame itself has no driver and no control gear. Build and warranty The body is polycarbonate (PC) in plain black, with no decoration and no screws visible from the front. The inside of the bezel is black as well, which keeps glare off the edge of the cut-out. The product carries CE, EMC and RoHS markings, and V-TAC covers it with a three-year warranty.Show more
