TUBA 92679-N is a surface-mounted spotlight shaped as a cylinder 5.6 cm across and 10 cm tall, made of metal in a white finish. How big it is and how it mounts The fitting is surface-mounted: it goes onto a finished ceiling or wall with no cut-out, which also suits ceilings with no void above them. The base is 5.6 cm across and the body projects 10 cm, so it reads as an object rather than disappearing into the surface. The fitting weighs 0.15 kg and ships in a 6.5 × 6.5 × 11 cm carton. One tube is one light point, so a longer run — over a kitchen worktop, for instance — is built from several units. Which bulb you have to buy The socket takes a GU10 bulb rated up to 50 W, and none is supplied. Colour temperature, brightness and any dimming are therefore chosen with the bulb, not decided by the fitting. GU10 is a common two-pin bayonet base, so the source can be swapped later without changing the fitting. Setting the bulb back inside the tube limits the view of the lit element when looking from an angle. Supply and where it can go The fitting runs on 230 V mains and is wired permanently into the installation. IP20 includes no protection against water, so the manufacturer intends it for dry interiors only, not for shower zones or outdoors. The manufacturer names the living room, dining room, kitchen, study and office, hallway and entrance area, and bedroom.
