This is the shade alone – a replacement part, not a complete lamp. Ripple 111305 from the British brand Endon Lighting has the classic tapered (empire) shape: 40 cm across at the bottom, 28 cm at the top, 27.5 cm tall. A pattern, not a plain colour The name "Ripple" describes the pattern: the fabric is digitally printed with vertical, wavy strokes in Marlin Blue on a pale ground. Close up you see fine ripples and shifts in the depth of the blue – closer to hand-painting than to a flat print. So the shade is not solidly blue; in a room it reads as a blue-and-white accent. The edges are taped and the inside carries a plain lining, so the light diffuses evenly and the seams do not show through.
