Daicel CHIRALPAK® protein-based chiral selectors are immobilized on spherical silica particles with a size of 5 µm. They function fully in reversed-phase chromatography using buffers with low organic modifier content and at moderate pH values. Enantioselectivity can be easily controlled or improved by changing the composition of the mobile phase (pH, buffer and organic modifiers). Daicel's stationary chiral protein selectors are available with three main proteins: CHIRALPAK® AGP - α-1-acidic glycoprotein CHIRALPAK® HSA - human serum albumin CHIRALPAK® CBH - cellobiohydrolase (stable enzyme) The Daicel CHIRALPAK® AGP selector has a wide range of applications for the separation of a variety of chiral compounds such as amines, acids and non-prolytes.
