End cap 12-1431-10 closes the end of the LUMINES DUO LED profile. It is made of white lacquered aluminium and shaped as a wedge that repeats the triangular section of that profile. There is a rectangular hole near the top and a lug at the back — the cap presses into the profile, with no screws and no adhesive. Which end of the profile it closes This is the left-hand version. The DUO profile has an asymmetric section, so the two caps of one run are mirror images of each other and the same one cannot serve both sides. To close the profile at both ends you also need the right-hand version, number 12-1421-10, which is sold separately. What the hole is for On the DUO profile the driver sits outside the profile, so the supply cable has to leave it somewhere. The hole in the cap is that exit: the cable passes through the closed end instead of being brought out at the side. The cap does not seal the profile — DUO runs at IP20 and is not intended to be sealed. Aluminium or plastic LUMINES closes the same profile end with an ABS plastic cap in white as well, number 12-1341-00. The aluminium version matches the material of the profile itself, which is also aluminium, so the edge left visible after plastering is the same metal as the rest of the fitting. In aluminium the same cap also comes in lacquered black (left: 12-1432-10) and anodised silver (left: 12-1435-10).
