STEINEL IR Quattro 8m COM2 is a white passive-infrared presence detector for concealed ceiling wiring. Article 000356 is intended for indoor use and has a square 4 × 4 m presence-detection zone, covering 16 m². It supports normal and test modes, semi-automatic or fully automatic operation, push-button or switch mode, and manual ON or ON/OFF operation. Twilight response can be set from 10 to 1,000 lx and the time setting from 30 seconds to 30 minutes. Settings are available through DIP switches, potentiometers, a remote control or Smart Remote; a remote control is not declared as included.Installation-related factsIR Quattro requires a 230 V / 50–60 Hz supply and is rated IP20. The manufacturer specifies it for indoors; IP20 does not provide the protection required for areas exposed to water. The detector can be interconnected by cable in master/master or master/slave arrangements, with up to ten sensors.
