Zambelis 1665 is a single-light pendant with a bottle-shaped shade in natural clay, 13 cm across and 27 cm tall. The clay is unglazed, in a warm orange-brown terracotta tone, with a visibly rough matt surface. The ceiling rose and the cable are black. What height to hang it at The fabric-braided cable is 200 cm long and adjustable, so the drop is set during installation. Over a 75 cm dining table the shade usually sits well with its lower edge 70–80 cm above the top; 200 cm of cable also covers a high-ceilinged room. The black ceiling rose is 10 cm across and 2.5 cm deep. At 13 cm the shade is narrow, so several fittings can hang in a row over a longer worktop without looking crowded. The bulb and the light The fitting has one E27 socket and takes a bulb up to 40 W. No bulb is included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself — that is what decides whether the light comes out warm or neutral, and how much of it there is. The manufacturer does not provide for dimming this fitting. The shade is opaque and open at the bottom, so light falls as a concentrated pool below the lamp rather than spreading sideways. This is light for a specific surface — a worktop, a table, a kitchen island — not for a whole room. Build and connection The shade is clay and the ceiling rose is black-painted metal. The clay surface is neither polished nor lacquered, so each piece carries a slightly different texture. The manufacturer gives a three-year warranty. The supply is 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz, and the fitting is protection class I — a protective earth conductor is needed to connect it. IP20 means the lamp is intended for dry interiors only.
