Zambelis 2082W-3 is a three-metre length of 48 V magnetic track in the deep profile, with a section of 2.6 cm wide by 5.2 cm high. The profile is aluminium in a sandy white finish. What ships is the track alone: fittings, driver and end caps are not included.Dimensions and how it mountsThe length is 300 cm, and of the 2.6 cm profile width, 2.3 cm is the slot the contacts run in. For planning, though, the height matters more: the track drops 5.2 cm below the ceiling and that is exactly how much of it shows once installed — a measurement to line up against the other elements on the ceiling, a suspended-ceiling edge for instance.The manufacturer allows two mounting methods: straight onto the ceiling, or suspended. The suspended version needs kit 20102-B with two adjustable 2 m aluminium wires, bought separately.What has to be bought alongsideThe track runs at 48 V, so a driver for that voltage has to sit between the 230 V installation and the rail — the profile contains none. Fittings are chosen separately: in a magnetic system they are placed against the track and held by a magnet, so they slide along it and swap out without the rail being taken apart.For this same profile the manufacturer offers the end cap 2098-W, the polycarbonate cover 20107-W and corner connectors — vertical 2082W-C1 and horizontal 2082W-C2 — used to join several lengths into a bent run. Each of those parts is bought on its own.BuildThe profile is extruded aluminium finished in sandy white, so against a pale ceiling it stays inconspicuous. 48 V falls within safety extra-low voltage, meaning no mains voltage is present on the track side — a property of the whole magnetic system rather than of this one length.Zobrazit více
