HALMSTAD 1356 is a garden bollard light with a square section. The shaft is Scandinavian pine, the head and the base are hot-dip galvanised steel. A milky PMMA diffuser sits under the ribbed shroud of the head, and the LED module is built in permanently. How tall the bollard is and how it is fixed The bollard stands 85 cm high, ten centimetres above a typical dining table top. NORLYS also lists a 49 cm version in the same series, so the height is worth comparing with whatever grows beside the path: the taller one stays visible above low shrubs and perennials. The base is fixed through three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. Only the luminaire is supplied — the remaining accessories, anchoring parts included, are sold separately by the manufacturer. The terminals take conductors up to 2 x 4 mm² in a round-sheathed cable of up to ø12,5 mm, and allow loop-through wiring so the supply can carry on to the next bollard. How much light HALMSTAD 1356 gives The built-in LED module draws 8,5 W and delivers 310 lm. That is accent-level brightness: the bollard marks the line of a path and lights the ground immediately around itself, so a longer run is planned with several units rather than one. The milky PMMA diffuser spreads the light, and the metal ribs shield it from above. The luminaire is dimmable, but the dimmer has to come from the installation. The light source cannot be replaced, because the LED is integrated into the fitting; the manufacturer quotes 50 000 h for the module and the same figure for the driver. Build and outdoor service Hot-dip galvanising covers the steel with a zinc layer applied instead of paint, naturally silver-grey in colour. The manufacturer backs the steel parts with a 25-year anti-corrosion warranty and the whole luminaire with 8 years. Pine next to bare zinc is Scandinavian design, where the material stays on show.
