EIK 2 is a two-light spot bar: two conical metal shades in grey, set on chrome swivel joints. The bar measures 28.5 cm and the fitting stands 15 cm off the surface. Nordlux intends it for both ceiling and wall mounting. How much room it needs and where to put it The fitting is 28.5 cm wide with a 15 cm projection, and a single shade is 8.5 cm across. The projection is the figure to compare against the space above a cabinet door or beside a mirror, because that is how far the bar stands out from the wall. It weighs 0.49 kg, so it fixes straight to the connection box without extra support. Nordlux allows both ceiling and wall mounting — on a wall the shades aim up or down, on a ceiling they aim sideways. The fitting is protection class 1, so the connection box has to carry an earth conductor. The manufacturer states that these fittings are not wired in parallel one after another; each needs its own supply.
