The SLV EUTRAC 145834 ceiling plate is a round grey plastic disc with a short length of EUTRAC 3-phase track profile set into its face, marked EUTRAC®. It produces no light of its own — it holds a luminaire with a built-in 3-phase track adapter directly against the ceiling. What the point outlet is for Luminaires with a 3-phase adapter normally clip onto a track running across the room. Where a single light point is all that is needed, a full track run is unnecessary and this plate takes its place. The luminaire clips in exactly as it would on the track, and the wiring ends at one ceiling outlet. The plate accepts adapters in the 3-phase Eurostandard (EUTRAC) profile used throughout the EUTRAC system. Size and mounting The disc is 11.9 cm across and drops 3.1 cm below the ceiling, so it builds no noticeable base under the luminaire. It weighs 135 g, which means the load on the ceiling comes from the luminaire rather than from the plate. It is surface-mounted to the ceiling. It runs on a standard 220–240 V ~50/60 Hz supply. The product is safety class I, so the ceiling outlet must include a protective earth conductor. It is intended for dry interior rooms. Finish and the EUTRAC system The body is plastic in the silver-grey shade EUTRAC also uses for its tracks and connectors, so the plate matches the rest of the range.
